A shiny new home for the Lincoln Arts Council

The Lincoln Arts Council"Everything changes; nothing remains without change." These ancient words of the Buddha continue to ring true almost 2,500 years after they were spoken.

Change has also come to the Lincoln Arts Council. We've relocated to a new facility! You can now find us at 1701 South 17th Street, suite 1A. In late 2011 we received a unique opportunity to move to a new space by the Sower's Club of Lincoln. This new space will allow the LAC to give the green light to projects that have been on the back burner.

To celebrate, we're inviting everyone to join us at our new office on Thursday, January 26th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for an open house. There will be something spirited, savory and sweet, plus lots of great conversation! No R.S.V.P. needed, just drop by. Hope to see you there!

In addition to the Sower's Club, we have many people to thank who have helped us move into our new address. Designers at The Clark Enersen Partners have partnered with national flooring company Shaw Floors and Nebraska's own Floors, Inc., and all have donated their time, talents and resources to improve the layout of the space, and give it an amazing new look.

Of course, saying hello to our new space means saying goodbye to the old. We'd like to thank our friends at County/City Property Management and especially Jeanne Sayers for being great hosts and faithful friends of the Lincoln Arts Council through the years.

Special Thanks

In 2009 the Lincoln Arts Council received a generous gift from the estate of Ken Good, a portion of which was used to redevelop our website and establish an endowment. We offer our heart-felt thanks to Kenneth J. Good for his generosity and vision for a beautiful future.
